We are so proud of the efforts of our local families for their efforts during our recent nappy drive for The Nappy Collective.
We hosted a collection service at the centre, calling for donations and we were overwhelmed with the response.
In total, the drive collected a massive 184, 247 unused nappies for families in need.
A huge thank you to everyone who got involved!
This year, we introduced a brand new language program in some of our Kindergarten rooms!
The children have been learning to speak Mandarin; a course planned and implemented by our Chinese educator, Polly.
The children, aged 3-5, have been taking a lesson every day with Polly and we have seen such great results so far. We can’t wait to continue this program into 2020!
Parents - are you on Storypark?
We share important updates and announcements on the app (including information on our relief staff team) – so make sure you’ve downloaded the app and created an account to stay involved in your child’s learning and development.
Having technical issues? Just reach out to your local Centre Manager – they will be happy to assist.
29th September to 1st October recognised Rosh Hashanah - the Jewish new year.
This holiday takes place at the beginning of the month of Tishrei, which is actually the seventh month of the Jewish year (counting from Nisan in the spring).
It is both a time of rejoicing and of serious introspection, a time to celebrate the completion of another year while also taking stock of one’s life.
Our Dianella long day care rose awareness of this holiday with a couple of events over a few days!
We had so many exciting outings during our spring school holiday program.
Our Beaumaris Vacation Care kids were lucky enough to visit the Wanneroo Rotary Park and enjoyed a BBQ lunch! Check out a quick snap from the day here: https://www.facebook.com/KidzBizPerth/photos/a.191004257670761/2214979841939849/?type=3&theater.

Saturday October 19th marked the first day of National Children’s Week 2019!
Children’s Week is a national celebration of children’s rights, talents and citizenship and always celebrated around Universal Children's Day.
We celebrated at KidzBiz Dianella with a range of events and activities.
On Friday 27th October, we recognised Diwali – the Indian Festival of Lights.
Diwali is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn every year. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.
This year we celebrated the holiday at our Dianella centre with a range of activities and activations.
What does a day in the life of a KidzBiz kid look like?
Head to https://www.facebook.com/KidzBizPerth/videos/778182185956493/ to find out!
Often, it will look something like this:
• Kiss and drop at the KidzBiz front door and a happy hello from a KidzBiz team member
• Starting off the day with learning through play, following the National Early Years Learning Framework
• Snack times and lunches, fresh from the on-site KidzBiz kitchen
• Nap time
• More play, presenting new challenges and opportunities for enquiry, experimentation, problem solving, cooperation, trial and error
• Home time!
We are now taking enrolments for 2020. Visit https://www.kidzbiz.net.au/early-learning-centres/programs for all the details and to enquire at your nearest centre.
A big thanks to PD Media for capturing our long day care service so beautifully!
Earlier this month our Beaumaris kindy team had the pleasure of hosting a super fun, hands on and educational incursion from an Eco Faerie!
The team of eco faeries are leading the way to inspire a green generation.
The children learned all about different waste and what can be turned into compost to use for planting. We planted our own beans to take home and sang some fun and catchy songs to remind us about being pro-active, greener and more sustainable!
