Not long ago, our Dianella educators organised an excursion for our babies to the local park.
Even our youngest babies are active and involved learners and show curiosity for their learning environment.

We are introducing new summer menus to meet daily nutritional requirements.
The plans follow Feed Australia; a Department of Health initiative.
The movement was trialled in 2016 and made available to early childhood education and care providers in 2017 to help the sector to monitor, assess and improve the delivery of food and drinks to the children in their care, in alignment with Australian Dietary Guidelines.
Recently at our Dianella Kindy, the children learnt about emergency services.
Everyone got the chance to have a look inside a real ambulance. Check out the pictures here: https://bit.ly/35uJ3Dw.
Active partnerships with our community are an important part of our curriculum.
Hot cars and children don’t mix!
Before putting children in the car, open a few doors to let heat out and never leave children and pets in cars unattended.
Let’s all work together to keep our children safe this summer!
Summer means one thing in Perth – swimming!
Whilst we love to splash by the pool or the ocean – don’t forget about safety.
Remember to supervise children by the water at all times – particularly if you’re at the beach – and start with professional swimming lessons from a young age.
If you have any questions about our 2020 swim programs, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
December 2019 was the third hottest summer on record in Perth – ever!
That’s why we are being extra cautious when it comes to SunSmart awareness this summer.
All children are required to wear clothing with covered shoulders and hats and they must bring a labelled drink bottle every day.
SPF 50+ sunscreen must be applied 20 minutes before outside play.

We were overwhelmed with emotion at our recent graduation ceremony for our Beaumaris children!

This year, our Beaumaris centre ran its first ever split room as part of our School Readiness Program.
School readiness has become increasingly important as educational expectations continue to rise. It is our belief that a comprehensive and holistic Kindergarten program is an essential part of a child’s learning experience and essential when transitioning to school.
Parents - are you on Storypark?
We share important updates and announcements on the app (including information on our relief staff team) – so make sure you’ve downloaded the app and created an account to stay involved in your child’s learning and development.
Having technical issues? Just reach out to your local Centre Manager – they will be happy to assist.
This year, we introduced a brand new language program in some of our Kindergarten rooms!
The children have been learning to speak Mandarin; a course planned and implemented by our Chinese educator, Polly.
The children, aged 3-5, have been taking a lesson every day with Polly and we have seen such great results so far. We can’t wait to continue this program into 2020!
